Are we accidental or causal beings?
According to science, the universe began to expand, and with the Big Bang, space, time, and matter were born, giving rise to the universe as we know it today.
Religion teaches that initially there was nothing, and then God created the world, with humanity at its center, pinnacle, and purpose: God created everything for them.
Which narrative might be true? I explore this dilemma in the series CODE. Each painting presents to us the chaos of random birth through colors and forms, yet each image also conceals a code. The code – since it links the painting to a single individual – suggests that behind randomness, there may be deliberate intent; our existence is unique and unrepeatable.
