We traveled to New York for an exhibition and once we were there, we toured the city.

Charging Bull was also on the list, we carne from behind. There was a huge line at the bottom of the bull. People lined up to crouch down next to the bull’s testicles, rub them and photograph them. There was just an adult girl on the line, whom I photographed. It was funny!

Then we went forward to the bull’s head. There was a small line here. Mostly families were waiting with their younger children, who were placed around the bull’s neck and had their photo taken as a souvenir. A little girl was sitting on the bull’s neck, with her mouth up to her ears, happily. I took a picture of him too.

I thought a lot about what I saw.

We believe that when we grow up, we will also become wíse… but looking back at the 2 photos, I strongly doubted this…

People on the Street say that you should rub the bull’s nose, horns and testicles to bring good luck. This seems to have developed into a tradition.)
